I have XP Pro, Winrar and Winzip. I have to convert hundreds of JPG folders to .cbr or .cbz. This is so that it can be viewed in CDisplay. I Googled this to no avail. Thanks in advance.

Typing in bold doesn't get you an answer any quicker or make your question more important.

A CBR is just a zip file with the extension changed to .CBR I don't know any nice way to batch zip, although if winzip can be scripted then you could probably create a batch file to stroll through your folders zipping them up and then renaming them.

Using Winrar you can highlight the folders/files you want to include, then "Add to archive" (you can do this from Windows Explorer by right-clicking on them if Winrar's shell extensions are enabled, which many are if using a default installation). This will save them as one big rar file; then change the extension to .cbr like guns1inger said.

Winrar also allows you to use zip compression, in which case you'd rename the extension to .cbz. Either will work fine with CDisplay.

Actually, you can open regular .zip and .rar image archive files just fine in CDisplay, without the need to rename the extension to .cbz or .cbr - unless you want to double-click on the image archive and have it automatically open CDisplay.

I just set entries for CDisplay (and Comical) in my SendTo menu, so I can send any archive to either program, if I want.
