    I am having an issue in that video playback on my laptop is pixelated or blocky. It seems to be all types of video, there is no problem with them on my main machine. They were originally okay but for some reason no longer., I have tried the various flavours of klite and also vlc player to no avail. Any ideas? I am am going to try updating my graphics driver.

    Have you played around with your graphics settings? Like if you increase the video overlay brightness or contrast too much you will see blocks and pixels more clearly.

    I realised what it was, I had turned down hardware accelaration a while back due to another report producing program which required it!
