Capturing VHS(pal) with Radeon AIW

Hi,

What is the best possible capturing setup using the radeon AIW, The aim is to archive all my old VHS tapes to DVD without losing quality is this possible?

I've used the TV tuner to capture before but i'm confused with some of the settings could someone point me to a guide or give me some help?

what is the vesion (multimedia) mmc7.1 ?
is it really Dvd or vcd (4.7GiG or 800 meg ? )

my best capture on mmc7.1 is

mpeg2
640x480
i frames only ( no p , no b )
8 Mbitrate or higher get good result
100% quality/motion

Yeah its DVD-R-RW

Do I need to do anything with Interlace Because I'm capturing VHS?

I Sometimes get problems when capturing, the sound goes out of Sync when I convert it through tmpgENC????
