Hi everyone,
I have a question about the effect used in Adobe products, known as time warp.
Does anyone know how successful this effect is at creating slow motion video from frames shot normally?
I'm thinking of swapping from Vegas to Adobe Premiere for this reason, but I'd like to know if this effect can actually create realistic slow motion effects, using pixel motion to generate in-between frames, or if it's just a 'next best thing' to actual slow motion.
The only examples I've seen are low res, where it's hard to tell just how well this software works. I'd only be interested if it can acheive believeable results on a large screen in standard definition DVD format.
Also, does anyone know of any stand-alone software that can do the same or similar things, that would save me learning a new platform?
Thanks a lot guys.
