I'm looking to buy a new camera, and I was previously interested in the DVX200, but the HVX200 looks so tight and worth the extra money. The only worry I have is that I've seen footage from HD cameras that has tons of interlacing issues (i.e. jaggies during movement). Should I be worried about this? I've looked for sample footage, but most of seems to be somewhat produced or shot with a 35mm lens on. I have Vegas 8 for editing.

What are you trying to do? Goals please.

Is there a DVX200? Link please.

Do you have experience with the DVX-100A/B?

Yeah, it can do 24p. This will mostly be for filming shorts with friends and hopefully some pay work. And, no, I don't have much experience actually using either camera.
