    Hi

I'm trying to download the software. Every attempt ends with 'tracker reset status' or something like it. I end up with a 32.5mb file which is not the software. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I didn't have any problem DLing it from http://www.ffmpegx.com/download.html DL speed was about 80 - 90Kbs.

Are you using some sort of download assisting program? Or is another program, such as a antimalware program blocking the DL?

And this thread would be better in our ffmpegx Forum. Moving you.

    And welcome to our forums.

EDIT: I should mention I DL'd on a PC as a test, I don't have my Mac G4 hooked up at the moment, but that shouldn't have made any difference. If your DL speed is sufficient, the DL should have finished. Possibly their server is having random problems. Any other site to DL it from?

I am having the same issue. It gets to 32.5 and the connection is reset by peer.

I do not have any other helper programs with the down load.

If you're on a wireless connection, go to a hardwired one. "Reset by peer" can mean several things, including dropped connections, excessive error rate, ISP bandwidth-throttling...However, the fact that two different users encounter a problem at the same point (32.5MB) would seem to point to a server-side problem. Hmmm.

The strange thing is that it happens at a point beyond the filesize of the DMG image (32.2 MB)! Did the OP try different download tools, such as an alternate browser, an FTP client, or even the Finder (drag the link to the desktop, then double-click)?

Yes, I got the caps log-thing by now.
Sorry, I am absolutely new to forums and all that.
When my son writes to me, which is about the only emails I get, I REQUESTED him to write in caps, cause I can read them better.
Had no idea about procedures here.

If you ever plan a midnight run, let me know, I shall wait outside and pick you up.
