Combining two DVDs

I use the following to produce ny home DVDs

I capture and edit, using Motion DV from Panasonic. Then I use TMPGEnc to encrypt (old version). I then author using GUI for DVD Author, then go through DVD Shrink and burn with Nero. Works very well for me.

If I have say two DVDs, want to cut clips from each DVD and add them together on a new DVD, is there any free programme that will me allow to do it? I see DVD Fab has got this, but it is not available for free.

Any advice??

Cut out the clips using dvd shrink in the reauthoring mode. Demultiplex the vobs to video and audio streams using pgcdemux. Import in GUI For DVD Author.

AVIDeMux could probably also be used to cut the clips, and can output already demultiplexed streams, ready for authoring.
