Hi everybody,
Is it at all possible to push/forward a VLC stream to another IP address that is outside the LAN?
This is to avoid having to expose the PC that is doing the streaming.

you could open just the one port VLC is streaming from and that wouldn't be an issue unless VLC its self had a security flaw. In theory it should be possible to use a port forwarding program to take all requests from PC1 @ port 12 (or what have you) and send it to PC2 @ port 19 (or what have you) and it should work but it is no less of a risk.
