just bought pinnacle DC10+ and need advice

Hi if anyone can tell me , can you capture at higher resolution than
studio7 provides (pal 360x288) .also cannot seem to capture with ulead or virtual dub

I just took back my DC10+ card yesterday for the simple fact that it would not use anyone elses compression but their own. Virtual Dub see's it and uses it and actually made pretty darn decent captures (using their codec only) but when it came to converting to mpg1/2 using Tmpegec, it would never convert the video, it would convert the audio only. If you used avi2vcd it would convert the video upside down. I just had to take it back and get something else.

I own two of these cards (for different computers) and I love them. I capture at 640x480 (using the VidCap program in the folder) and have NEVER had a problem encoding to mpg1 or 2 with TMPGenc.
I really only capture ith this program, not even the pinnacle program it came with(It sucks).
I've not had a problem with only the audio encoding, or upside down or anything like that.
