Well, X264 is the best of the mature codecs we have at the moment, I thought extra denoising and CRF22 was only acceptable because the intended destination was an iPhone and animation tends to compress well. If what I'm reading is correct, your video consists of nothing more than a series of JPG images which I don't think even uses reference frames, as far as I'm concerned that bit-rate is abysmal and if you intend to re-encode that without massively increasing the size I hope you don't expect too much from it. Just saying.

well it's not about the different codec or getting the filesize down, it's about cutting those vids up to produce something watchable
and I hoped that going through avisynth would fix the offsync sound problem I have with every player I tried.
And I hope the vids get better once I learn to fly that thing a bit more stable -
Well, I would tell you to keep the video and just modify the audio but it's not a wildly compatible codec. Some things are just screwed to begin with and you've just got to make the most of it.
