    HI there
    i Got this LOTR vcd and for some reason i cant play it in windows media. Also, in winexplorer, it says the dat file is 1GB in size..
    whats up with that?....i dont have a dvd drive and it shows up as that?
    BTW, it works fine on my real standalone dvd player.

    Any help?

    I got the same problem...
    I Burned the CD and got some folder with SVD, DAT and MPG files... but the POwer DVD dont run it :/
    If i open via HD and run the just the MPG files, the movie got a big green band... if open via CD i got a error "Invalid Format".
