I was recently given a Pinnacle HDTV Pro stick (800e) and would like some very basic software to view TV. I don't care about capturing, I don't care about any PVR/replay TV features, I don't care about the remote... All I want is something where I could watch a bit of TV if I want. I tried Media Player Classic and while it seemed to work, I wasn't getting audio for some reason. I may have had something set wrong, but either way, I was hoping for something that was a bit easier to use than MPC. Any suggestions?
I'll probably be using this card on one of my two laptops. One runs Vista, the other XP and Ubuntu.

can always try gbpvr, thats free.
mediaportal is also free
and there is also prog DVB too.
