Hey Guys!
Recently I bought myself a MS Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000 for my Acer Aspire 5920G which runs on Vista,
I noticed last night when trying to play a game that the middle moure button (wheel click) has a command assigned to it which was a switch between windows command so obviously when playing a game I cannot use this button, so I went into the setting and tried the disable command but this disabled the button completely!
Can anybody tell me what I could do as I like to use this button quite regulary when playing games.

The MS software for the mouse lets you assign just about any command to the wheel button.

Jagabo I did manage to find that option, that is where I find the disable button, but I couldn't really find a command that was suitable.

Typically, all windows commands assigned to a mouse are not recognized once you start a game. You may need to find an option for a gaming mode or it could be that your game doesn't recognize your mouse properly (or at least the center button) and isn't overriding the windows commands. The typical rules apply here, ensure you have the latest mouse software installed for your mouse or try not using the mouse software and just the default OS drivers. The game would also be helpful.
