    Hi

I just re-installed avidemux after a disc crash. I have 2 problems that don't remember I had last time. I choose ipod preset and MP4.
    1. When I add a job to the job list nothing gets in there. When I look at the job list it just say something like "No jobs in list"
    2. When I try to save the video I just get "Error while decoding" and it stops. I also noticed that the output preview is blank. Am I missing a decoder or something? I know I have xvid since AutoGK works with xvid. Also the stat-file is only containing a header about which version I used of AviDemux, no other debugging info available.

    I run Vista without UAC.
    Thankful for help

What version of avidemux? 2.4(3791)? I would use the latest official version from http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/download.html
Have you tried install it again?

Because it should work fine in Vista.

it's 2.4.3 and I'm ashamed to say that I didn't uninstall - install. I will do that when I get back home from work.

  4. I would use the svn builds from http://avidemux.razorbyte.com.au/ , because significant improvements have been made lately, and the most recent update was yesterday.

Argh, I did a few uninstall-install with the svn beta and the 2.4.3 version but the same problem. I noticed that I actually was not 100% truthful when I said that I used the ipod preset. When I use that I can save the file. The problem occurs when I add or remove a filter.
    1. choose ipod preset. The output preview is correct
    2. Remove the resize and black borders -> output preview is all green
