I have a video and audio track that I do my main editing on. Below them I have a video track where I've put titles that eventually I insert into the main video track. Usually I have auto-ripple on. It appears that when I move (slide) things on the main video track that the titles move below. How do I stop that? I looked at my Vegas 6 Revealed book and the author implies one has options for tying the affected tracks. He says one can choose various methods. He mentions, "Click the Auto Ripple button's down arrow and choose ...". What down arrow?
Is there a distinction between ripple and post-edit ripple?
Suppose I have produced an event that has two distinct parts. I'd like to separate them by cutting them. Do I line up on the last frame of the first part or the first frame of the second part to split?
