    Hi there

I've recently authored a DVD from two video files using DVD Flick but there are only two chapters; one for each of the source files. Is there a tool that can set chapter points in the authored DVD, or do I have to re-author with a different program that will set the chapter points at author-time?

I've just downloaded PGCEdit and it looks like this might be able to do what I want... if I could just figure out how to do it! I've tried googling, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for; maybe I'm just not searching on the right keywords.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  2. This may be the long way around it, but...

    You're not kidding

Thanks for the info, I've bookmarked it for reference. Surely there must be a simpler way to do it though. I'm not bothered about setting the chapters exactly, just want to be able to skip through the DVD quickly if I want to get to a specific point; I usually default to every 5 mins when using FAVC.

  4. Then just skip the HeadAc3he/Goldwave part and set up chapters for every five minutes in DVDAuthorGUI after you demux it.

All you can do with PGCEdit here is registering of already existing cells as chapters. To do what you want, you need to previously split cells in VOBBlanker. The only tool that would do both operations internally, is DVDRemake (not free but much more user-friendly).

I agree with Alex_ander, that Remake is best and easiest for what you want, all in one.
Only problem will be that you can go through chapters using next button only, but I guess you know that.

Just redo it in Flick. Did you set it to make chapters under Edit Title-> General? It has a few chapter making options. Time, amount etc.
