    Hi!

My computer has an output called "Digital Audio Out". It looks like a RCA connector.
I used a 1RCA-to-2RCA cable to connect it to my monitor (it's a switchable TV-monitor), in the DVI IN audio input of the TV, but it didn't work, I mean, I didn't hear any audio.
Am I doing right? Is this the right way to connect/use these connections?

    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

"Digital Audio Out" is S/PDIF which needs a S/PDIF "Digital Audio In" connector on the TV which is rare except on some HDTV sets.

Usually this is connected to a multichannel audio receiver system which can decode various digital audio formats including PCM stereo, AC3 2.1, AC3 5.1 or DTS.

Most TV sets with the "Digital Audio In" connector only decode to stereo.
