HI all, this is my first post and i could use a little help if possible..
I've been downloading avi files from winmx to encode to mpeg for VCD's. Ive noticed that a few groups - SMR , TMD files have a framerate of 15 odd frames per second, which makes the mpeg really jerky. Is there:
a) any way to encode these properly ie decent quality?
b) if not which group is it best to download from( ive also noticed BM and MEG)
Also can you tell the framerate from a partially downloaded avi file? and finally...phew!! Which is the best quality encoder on the market? (regardless of price)
Cheers guys
