    hello ...
    i record movie from tv to my dvd recorder .
    now the movie in my computer .
    how can i remove the black border from dvd movie ?

    What is your goal with the video? If you want an avi divx/xvid you can use autogk and it will autocrop black borders.

    after remove the border ,i want save the same format (vob files) .

    Assuming you have a letterboxed 4:3 video and you want to convert it to an anamorphic 16:9 video, the simplest, high quality solution, is DVD Rebuilder with HCEnc.

    Just rip your DVD to your HDD, load it into rebuilder, select Advanced Avisynth Options from the menu, and drill down to the option for converting Letterbox 4:3 to 16:9. Rebuilder will do all the cropping and resizing for you, re-encode the video, and put it all back together again. You can even keep menus and extras etc if you want because you can select which titles to convert.

    I have used this on a couple of discs simply because the enlarge better than using the Zoom function on the TV.
