  1. Hey is there anyway to take two avi files and convert them to dvd or whatever and burn both on a disc. Trying to get more than one movie on a regular 4.7 disc.

    Then you don't actually know how to convert to DVD.

    You can put hours and hours on a single disc. It depends solely on bitrate. However, image quality depends on the bitrate allocation. I would suggest 352x480, and then you can put up to 3-4 hours on a single disc in nice quality.

    ConvertX would work well for this, as would any number of "real" encoders (TMPGEnc, MainConcept, Procoder, CCE, etc).

    Remember to fix overscan if this is a crappy AVI encode.
