    what happen with 45mn 28s-36mn 25s =9mn 3s ?
When I watch file avi, it is full, but it seems the timer cout up a little quickly than file mkv
Because there is difference duration so i can't synchronize the audio and video

How are you extracting it to an avi? What software?

  3. Try using mkvmergegui

Checkmark the files you want, uncheckmark the files you don't want. Add the .ssa file, then press merge

    probably vfr,

if you just want to remux, with one audio and alternate subs,
then you (probably) have to remux to mkv

    if avi, is the aim.
    then you'll have to re-encode

i used MKVextractGUI to extract and mkvmerge to merge (all in mkvtoolnix)
But i dont understand what going on, while duration file mkv is 45 minutes but the duration of file video avi extract from mkv is 36 minutes

@45tripp: amazing, you found the main reason, but i need an advice, i will change vfr to cfr or use merge to mkv and execute some special script needed

    was that a question?

but i'll say it's a mistake to demux with mkvextract and then remux.
    overly complex.

    import media directly into mkvmerge,
select streams you wish to remain,
    remux.

When i use mkvmerge GUI to remux but it says error
" Could not extract the decoder specific config data (AVCC) from this AVC/h.264 track."

I notice that Video ID in normal mkv is V_MPEG/ISO/AVC, but with this file Video ID is V_MS/VFW/FOURCC

how can I remux it ?

Just to be sure, are you running the latest versions of MKVExtractGUI/MKVMerge and mkvtoolnix, all installed to the same directory?
