    Hi everyone,
I need help in the following situation.
I have a DVD for the movie Independance day, so I try to add a subtitle inside it by using DVDlab pro
    following this tutorial :

    Code:
    https://forum.videohelp.com/topic219535.html

But when I Update the Ifo and play the dvd , two problems appear :-

    First :-
When I play the movie ( after update Ifo ) , the movie reach to some point and freeze.
The picture freeze. (it seems that it reach to a chapter and can't play it !)

    Second :-
    Subtiltle colour are not white
    But I can fix this

This is not my first time to add subtitle, so I am sure about my steps.

My explaination of the problem ( I am guessing )

The original DVD (video part ) contains two vesions for the movie.

1- Thearical version ( which consist of 54 chapters )
2- Special Edition version ( which consist of
    57 chapters )

As I said before , I used Ifo update to update the ifo

So if there is a way to make the ifo did't read the Theatrical version
    In other words ; Did't detect "title 2 " ( look at picture 3 )

    here is

the VIDEO_TS.IFO ( for the original DVD )

    Code:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/145364107/VIDEO_TS.IFO
    or
    http://www.uploading.com/files/VRMO21CK/VIDEO_TS.IFO.html

    the VTS_01_0.IFO

    Code:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/145364339/VTS_01_0.IFO
    or
    http://www.uploading.com/files/F5FOG0BA/VTS_01_0.IFO.html

And the ifo after adding the subtitle :

    VTS_01_0.IFO

    Code:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/145364621/VTS_01_0.IFO
    or
    http://www.uploading.com/files/X2BY0KO6/VTS_01_0.IFO.html

    Anyone has any idea
    Thanks in advance
    Sorry for my bad english.

  3. His English may be fine but all that colored big font bold crap isn't. This isn't kindergarden.

As far as I know, you won't be able to add subs the tradional way to an angled DVD. Get rid of one of the angles and try again.

  5. The easiest thing to do, perhaps, is to decrypt using DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode and choose the angle you want. You'll lose the menus, though.

If you want to keep the menus, there are a couple of ways to remove the angle(s) you don't want. I can't find a guide for the PGCEdit/VobBlanker method. This guide uses IFOEdit for the job:
