  1. I would like to convert various FLV videos from youtube to Avi or MPG so I can watch them on a tv set on my dvd player which reads divx, vcd, svcd etc.
I downloaded Pazera Free FLV to AVI Converter and it works fine for me, but can someone tell me please which settings would you recommend? As I know youtube videos are 320X240, should I go for VCD for example? Also, do youtube videos have one standard frame rate or it depends on the source video file? should I go for Pal (25) or NTSC (29,9)? Other advices would be also appreciated. thanks

If your player does DivX (AVI) files, I'd go with that rather than VCD (MPG2). As regards resizing & framerate changes, DON'T! DivX has fairly generic requirements, so leave the videos at original size & framerate...the player should handle the rest
