The best you can do is a convoluted menu system that requires the right combination of selections to reach a menu level that will play back the movie. This will annoy some people, but some DVD players will allow you to actually select the title you want to play, ignoring the menu altogether.

This example is for DVD Lab Pro : http://mediachance.com/dvdlab/tutorial/keypad.html but the theory can be carried over to any authoring tool that isn't template bound. There are further DLP tutorials that extend this concept with scripting etc, but they are very DLP focussed.

might stop a few people, but it's so easy to extract the movie only from any menued disc and skip them altogether it probably isn't worth the extra effort.

He only wants to annoy people playing back with a DVD player. He never said make it un-rippable. If had asked for that, I would have sent him here : https://forum.videohelp.com/topic223640.html
