passwords aren't in the dvd spec.

The best you can do is a convoluted menu system that requires the right combination of selections to reach a menu level that will play back the movie. This will annoy some people, but some DVD players will allow you to actually select the title you want to play, ignoring the menu altogether.
This example is for DVD Lab Pro : http://mediachance.com/dvdlab/tutorial/keypad.html but the theory can be carried over to any authoring tool that isn't template bound. There are further DLP tutorials that extend this concept with scripting etc, but they are very DLP focussed.Read my blog here.
