Many years ago, I used Canopus Raptor DV which did this (though it would produce pages and pages for one tape). I now have a laptop so used Exsate DV capture. This is arguably better as I can 'screen capture' a page full at a time but it takes a lot of time to process these as its a dozen screens per tape. (BTW you have to go"back" to see them)
Can anyone tell me if there is a simple (& freebie) way to produce a thumbnail print of DV tape content?
Someone must have wanted to do this before now! I have tried out various capture progs to no avail so thought it better, now, to ask.
I'd be grateful for any leads or ideas.

prompted because an overnight capture of 90min DV file meant that laptop restarted after hibernate with a finished transfer file but a hung Exstate so all thumbnails were lost - unless I capture again.![]()
