I'm trying to create the MGM roaring lion opening with my dog, instead of the lion. I have a jpg of the MGM logo, and an avi of my dog yawning. How do I merge the two so that the lion won't be seen and the dog will? I have Premiere and Movie Maker, and am not too savvy (as you can see). Thanks!

I've never done this, but i think you would have to cut the lion out and save the transparent area of the picture (as TIFF?) anyway, it should be just a matter of laying your dog avi into a video track and overing the tif file. Different video editors different options, but you should be able to position the tif clip and set the xy.

Usually, there is an option for green or violet(?) screen for overlays. If your dog is stationary, it's as simple as placing the video, then overlaying the image.
