I should have save the email and links. I received a request once where the lady wanted coal for her "Time Travell" machine. Completely serious, she even sent me links to the design.... the coal in my area is very special coal, apprently they tried it wth some other coal an she though the anthracite might make a difference.

I time travel all the time, but I only go to the future, the immediate future, like now...

@thecoalman - did you provide her with any?

I'd like to have a big house with a room big enough to contain the original Time Tunnel.
The damn device still looks very kool to my old-fashioned eyes.

Theoretically"time travel" already exists. Extreme gravitational forces and/or speeds approaching the speed of light cause time to move slower. You would only be able to move forward in time though. However both of these are currently impossible to the extend we would deem noticeable since we're talking about the speed of light or the gravitational forces of a black hole. Remember that this is all part of Einstein's relativity theory.

We've already tested this at levels we have the ability to test. Two synchronized atomic clocks, one placed in a jet traveling at supersonic speeds and one left on the ground, were found to have a very slight margin of difference after the test.

I would like to time travel to the past, but I'm too worried about Jean-Claude Van-Damme coming back to kill me for messing with the time stream.

I love time travel movies, but prefer those where the time travel is somewhat plausible ie a machine to transport you back in time, instead of someone who just closes his eyes and gets transported back in time, or stupid ideas like that. Time travel favourites in my collection:
    Back to the Future trilogy,
    Planet of the Apes pentology,
    The time machine- 1950's version
    Time after time,
    Millenium,
    The final countdown

    Anyone want add others ?

I remember this experiment, in the end the difference between the two clocks was a second.

Something extremely remarkable if you truly understand the depth of the theory behind it.

I like the episode of South Park where Cartman has Butters freeze him (by burying him in the snow) so he can be thawed out when the Wii is available...only to wake up centuries later.

Isn't there a firmware upgrade to get it to 4x?

    EDIT: Found it!

    A bit late, but yes...

    Quantum Leap
    Sliders
    Stargate Continuum

Quantum Leap had sparked my interest in Quantum Physics, and Sliders gave me more insight as to the possibility of what was to come in the future, and Stargate Continuum just because they touch on the Einstein-Rosen Bridge theory that was already explained to death on Sliders....lmfao...good stuff...

I would love to go back in time as well, since there are so many missing pieces to Ancient History, missing books that could be found, long lost ancient civilizations that we never knew existed, and I would definately change a few things in my past as well, if it were up to me, but then I would probably get stuck in one of those horrendous grandfather paradoxes that we always hear about in sci-fi shows...lol....
