Hi guys (and ladies), I've searched through the forums a bit but only to get more confused. I'm looking for an all in one utility that will let me backup/copy both DVD's that I've authored using Premier Elements as well as some DVD's that I have that have started to get scratched up and being that I lend them out a fair bit they will continue to get scratched, I'd rather keep the original on my shelf in the jewl case and lend the backup, (I'm a college basketball coach, so a lot of these are DVD's that I've bought outlining fundementals, offenses etc.) but the ones that I haven't authored tend to be copy-protected.

I used to have DVDxcopy which worked great, but don't have it any longer, are there any "new" alternatives that are as easy and simple to use, essentially one click? I don't want to have to worry about any options and really don't care about being able to change any options etc. So I welcome all suggestions for a newbie .

Secondly what would you suggest for software to allow me to convert my DVD to an ipod compatable format (as I'd like to take some of these DVD's on the road with me and watch them on my Ipod video).

Thanks again and sorry for the redundant post, I just couldn't find a definative answer in the existing threads.

    Cheers,
    Matt

Sorry I forgot to mention two other things, one it would be great if it automatically sized the file to fit on a single DVD (or if available to me a DL DVD) and secondly it doesn't have to be free-ware, I don't mind paying for something that works, I just bought Corel DVDCopy 6 yesterday and it won't do what I want unfortunately.

Get AnyDVD rip your to HD and use Corel to copy, if that does not work, get CloneDVD from the same company as AnyDVD. They work well with each other.

    Thanks

Are any of these programs one stop utilities that will backup any DVD to a blank DVD and automatically re-size it to the size I choose without having to use more than one program?

Tinker when you say use Anydvd to rip and Corel to copy what do you mean by that?
