I just found that the a few video clips I get from HD PVR have some glitches (only a frame or two) when I played them in two different players at the same positions. I believe the signals were bad the HD PVR encoded them. I converted the video clips to AVCHD, the glitches were still there when I played them on my computer. But when I used PS3 to play the AVCHD video, the video part became jumpy for about 1 or 2 minutes and returned to normal. The audio part never had problem.
Is it possible to 'fix' the video file (.ts)? Or how can I prevent the 'jumpy' problem using PS3?
Is there a software to create avchd from mp4? I am thinking of converting the video clip to mp4 and then make avchd from it. Maybe the 'jumpy' problem is because h.264 decoder and mp4 could eliminate it?
