  1. OKay heres what I got to do.

I have the Lord Of the Rings Svcd Dvd Screener. I need to get the svcds (4cds) onto the Imac than burn it out onto 1 dvd-r.

I have no clue what burnering software to use. I can Either Convert the svcd into 1 big file on a pc than transfer it to the mac and burn. Or I can make the files into one big file on the Imac and than burn.

If anyone can help me burn out a dvd with these svcds files that would be great.

    Thanks

(OR give me a site that shows me how to rip out the dvd-r burner in the imac and put it in a PC =)

  2. Hmm... If your aim is to play it on a standalone, I don't think it'll work. Most standalones will see that it is a DVD-R media and will assume it is dvd, but won't play it since it is in SVCD specs and DVD playback won't happen at 480x480.

If you just want to play it in your computer, then just burning the mpeg files (assuming you've extracted them from the bin/cue if it came that way) to the DVD-R and using your internal mpeg2 playback would be best.

A software DVD player program will probably recognize the SVCD files on the DVDr. I don't know what software dvd players are available for macs though.

While you have the SVCD material in the PC, use VCDEasy/VCDImager to author SVCD images, selecting the Toast option. Transfer the image files off the PC and onto your iMac. In Toast Titanium, set up a Multi-track CD-ROM XA project. Add your images files (in the proper order) and burn the disk. To be safe, burn these at 2x speed.
