I've recorded voice-overs that are playing back perfectly in my sound editor (Audacity) and their exported MP3 files are playing back perfectly in my media player.

However, when I add the MP3 voice-over audio clips to the MPEG Video Wizard DVD "microphone" sound track (the bottom track), they play back with pops all over them.

I've tried just about every possible configuration of recording these voice-overs in Audacity and tried normalizing them within MVW-DVD, but even though they all play cleanly outside of MVD-DVD, I get these pops when I play them back in my project timeline.

What's happening to these otherwise perfect MP3 voice-over files when they're playing in my timeline? What do I need to do to eliminate this popping (they're playing clean in Audacity)?

    Help! Thanks.

Try instead export as wav in audacity and import in mpeg video wizard.

MPEG Video Wizard DVD does not support WAV file imports (I tried it anyway, and that's the message window I got).

Fixed Problem. I was mis-monitoring the playback through a headphone jack on my USB microphone.
