Advice on portable DVD player problem

Hi,

I have this 'digital labs' (DL730-PD), 7 inch portable dvd player, which i bought from circuit city. It is giving me a strange problem. The player stops in between and starts 'loading' the DVD. It happens 4-5 times in the movie duration. Also if i touch the top of the DVD compartment cover or sometimes touch the player, tilit it, the playing stops and loading starts. I did a lot of googling and someone suggested the DVD reading head should be cleaned. I did so using the head cleaner CD, but the problem persists.
If anyone knows what the problem could and provide solution, i would apprecaite it.

Frankly, all the portable players I have seen have been cheaply constructed, flimsy and prone to problems. There are, for the most part, low end player parts built around cheap laptop drives. Like portable CD players, they tend to have a very short life. While a clean might provide short term relief, I would not expect miracles.
