I have a Canon HV30 that I cap using HDVSplit and I end up with a .m2t file. I want to

    1) Burn them on to Blu-Ray/DVD
    2) Convert them to flash movies (I use RIVA FLV Encoder for this and seems to work good, I just need the m2t in mpg or avi or some other format first)
    3) Maybe have a format thats medium quality to play back in other people's pc. (Something that may be a pretty big download, but better quality than the FLVs)

What format should I convert the m2t to? Do I need to convert them before burning them or will the authoring software accept m2t format? Will one format be better for interlaced and one for deinterlaced? Any other help would be really appreciated.

    1) I think you can use tsmuxer and mux into a blu-ray compliant standard. Or try Ripbot264 or ArcSoft TotalMedia Extreme.

    2) I would convert to mp4 with h264 and aac, it is supported by latest flash. Try convert using Xvid4PSP. See my https://www.videohelp.com/guides/how-to-convert-any-video-to-high-quality-flash-mp4-wit...te-id1082#1082

    3) Convert to avi xvid or mp4 h264 using Xvid4PSP again.

use vegas pro or an encoder of your choice to render the .m2t to dvd spec mpeg-2. then use an authoring app. make to ifos and vobs from the mpeg-2.
