how do i change the region on my sanyo SL40 dvd player region 2- i paid to download region codes from dvd hacks - but mine is not listed - help my daughter wants to watch the doodlebops and its on region 1!

You may not be able to do this. All players can't be hacked. You can always ask as about 1 out 100 requests like this actually have someone respond with a code that's not known on the internet, but the odds are you that you have a player that can't be hacked. This is why you need to be sure BEFORE buying that your DVD player can be put into multiregion mode and not just assume that all players can be hacked. Bad idea to buy codes from anyone - any player that can be hacked will have such info freely available.
You can rip the DVD, which will remove the region coding, and reburn it if all else fails. If it's a dual layer disc and you don't want to burn to a dual layer disc, you can use something like DVD Shrink to squeeze it down to single layer size and burn that. -
Thankyou - that all sounds too tech for me as i wouldn't know how to copy/burn a dvd - however, thankyou soooo very much for your response i won't waste any more time searching for something thats prob not there. Saying that, if someone sees my post and knows of a hack?
