Can I change thread priotiy in Mediacoder?

I have been setting the thread priority to lower in Virtualdub while I convert h264 to xvid and was wondering if I could do something similar in Mediacoder so I can watch videos and encode videos at the same time. I've looked everywhere in mediacoder's menus and haven't found anything so far. Does mediacoder even have such an option? Thanks in advance for any help.

Bring up the task manager and lower the priority on the encoding process(right click on the process and set priority->low).
