VCD won't play when i make a menu for it!

i'm new to VCD's and stuff, but my vcd won't play when i make a menu for it. i made a vcd without a menu, and it worked fine. I use Nero 5.5. Anyone know what im doing wrong?????

You didn't even post what you did so how do we know what you're doing wrong? Try reading one of the menu HOWTO's in the Author Section. Preferably under "How to make VCD or SVCD with Menus, Chapters and Entrypoints" Granted this isn't an exact science, but it's not rocket science.

My VCDs with menus work great on my DVD player...but on my PC my I-ON Video CD Player (1.0) GPFs and dies when it tries to automatically play my VCDs. (If I insert the disc after I-ON is running I can use Explorer to drag the DAT file to the player and it then plays fine...it's a great VCD player otherwise).

I make my VCDs with my ATI AIW and burn with Nero, no post-capture processing required.
