I have a PS3 it can support WMV but not all WMV files. Have you actually tried the file(s) in question?

    Doesn't work in what way?

Do you get any playback at all? For instance video but no audio etc.

You do know that you must enable WMV support via the PS3 menu system settings ... have you done this?

Would help if you can load it into GSpot and post an image ... this way we can see the parameters of the file.

Is your PS3 firmware up to date? The latest firmware has addressed a number of problems with various video file formats.
