    What is currently the best tool (freeware or payware) to use to convert either DVD or Xvid to iPhone format?

    Xvid4PSP! Just choose the MP4 Iphone format and convert.

    xvid4psp requires net framework 3, use something simple like Avanti that has profiles now.

    Naawww this is the best tool, but I am biased!

    Xvid will be no problem, DVD's will need to be ripped or joined into 1 .vob file with VOBMerge or VOB2MPG
