distorted audio after transcoding thru Premiere to Cleaner

Hi All,

I have a MPG video file w/an audio track. after editing in Premiere and outputing it to a MOV via Cleaner, the first 5 seconds of the audio track is distorted. The remaining audio is fine. Sorry I do not have the complete info available (codec, settings, etc.) so any generic solution is graciously accepted.
