I am using an ADSTech USB Instant DVD for Windows to capture my vhs movies and burn to DVD. I would like to capture to MPG2 format, like capwiz does currently, but be able to set a time to record. So I don't have to watch and wait for the video to end.
I looked into using iuVCR but it captures to AVI or WMV which means I would have to through the encoding process to burn to DVD. Capturing direct to MPG2 is much faster on the burn process and the video is great.
Of course freeware or lowcost software would be preferred.
Thanks

Read a post on another board that someone at onepoint had created an applet named autocap.exe that would enable this functionality.
If anyone has a copy or knows where the link to download is I would appreciate it.
