Hey guys, I recorded a program to the hard drive of my Panasonic E80H. When I hit 'STOP', I got the message 'Please Change Disc', with an icon pointing to the 'ENTER" button. When I hit that, it says, 'BYE', the drawer pops out and it shuts down. When I power it back on, I get the message, "Error Has Occurred - Please Change Disc".
Any idea what's going on here? Did it finally take a dump?

Unplug it for a minute & plug it back in. This resets anything, including your recorder. Also, if there is a disk in it don't put it back in.

Thanks, handyguy. I have tried that and more. I believe what I have going on is the problem in the thread below. I am now trying to hunt down a hard drive that will work. Thanks again.
