    Hi I have done the region free code to make the DVD recorder region free and I put in a region 1 disk but it still wont play it, is there anything I have to do to make it work ? I have turned it off and turned it back on and its still not playing.

    Sounds like the region hack didn't work. As an alternative to messing with you DVD unit, you could just make a region-free back-up DVD using DVDFab HD Decrypter.

    It said congratulations you are now region free and I have tried about 3 region one disks and its still not doing it, this is what I have been previously doing just ripping them and burning them to dvd again so I just wanted to try and save myself time so it will just play it.
