Just use whatever CD burning software you have to burn it as a data CD.

What is your purpose here? To save the hack to a disc for future reference? Because if you have the impression that you have to burn this to a disc to change the region on your DVD player, that probably won't work. Region codes are entered by remote controls. I suppose you might have some weird player where something is different, but it's definitely not normal to have to burn a CD to change the region.Originally Posted by Reprobate
You'll need some kind of CD burning software. Nero is incredibly easy to use, but not free. ImgBurn is free, but not easy to use for this kind of thing. -
To many DVD burner owners, Nero is free, because it comes as the accompanies burning software with the drive.Originally Posted by jman98

Not all players are hacked via the remote control. My LG DVB418, for example, requires a file burned to a data CD:

iv got it sorted now, thanks for you advice. and jman98, my player is a sharp DV-740 and it did require a small .txt file to change to region.
