Is there a guide or a webite, that explains video cropping or resizing in detail ? Or is there a formula to convert sizes ?
Such as I know to convert a 640 x 480, 4:3 to widescreen, top & bottom is cropped 60,. But what about 720 x 480, 4:3 etc ?? to widescreen, or 960 x 540 to widescreen.
Such as the movie Titanic is widescreen but it has black bars top and bottom, 720 x 480 (16:9), how would I crop out the black bars top/bottom and keep it widescreen ?? Basically fill up my entire widescreen tv monitor.
I am trying to convert all my movies to widescreen, and there are so many size variations, such as 960 x 540, etc.....
Could someone direct me to a guide or explain how the process is done.
Thanks
