Need info with DVD authoring

Guys,

I am new to this forum and also to Video editing. I have my SONY MiniDV. I am capturing video using (firewire) Sony Vegas software and editing them in Ulead video studio and conevrting them to DVDs.

When I watch video from my Camcorder, Video quality is good. Wafter converting to DVD, when I watch I can see video flicker with moving objects.

may be I am not putting problem with right terminology. If some understand my problem, please help me.

It sounds like the field order is getting messed up. DV is always bottom field first.

Why are you capturing with Vegas and editing in VideoStudio ?
Why not just capture and edit in the one package (either Vegas or VideoStudio) ?

Both are capable of doing both tasks. Simplify your process and you have less risk of things going pear-shaped.

Thanks for the reply. I will try with your suggestions. I am still not used to Sony Vegas. Thats the reason I am using 2 packages.

I will try to get hands on Sony vegas.
