I use MGI VideoWave III to capture the DV through fireware. The video goes quite smoothly when I preview the video. But when I capture the the video, it goes so slow and clicking until stucked. Can anyone please tell me how to make it work?
I'm not sure if it's got something to do with my video card?
Because the capture worked perfectly until I recently changed the video card. The one I've got now is ATI Rage Fury Pro/Xpert 2000 Pro.

sounds like you have hardware/software comflicts
The only fix might be to reinstall windows from scratch. I had to for a similar problem after changing video cards.
