Hiya, im using videoredo to take out a segment from a VOB but it keeps cutting the segment short when im saving to mpg.
Any idea why?
When its saving it gets to 3/4 of the way along then says finished, but it keeps cutting it off at the same point?
Does the trial copy do this on purpose?
Thanks for any help....

That VOB might be corrupt. There may be a "fix" function in videoredo, which will generate a good copy of this clip. I've used Videoredo & womble side by side and womble is able to fix more corrrupt/damaged MPEG files that videoredo can't touch. That's why I exclusively use womble now only (MPEG VCR) to ensure MPEG-2 clips are all valid prior to editing them with Premiere. After the file is fixed, only then can you cut/edit it from beginning to end.
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i". -
Its cool i got my code for it & it works now, it seemed to cut out at 114MB whatever VOB i used so i figured its gotta be a registration thing, got my 14 day keyreg & it works sweet now!
considering the frustration with using other programs & it all came to a head when i came across this im so grateful to have found this prog its just simplified everything.
All i need now is a tool to sort out the mpgs it spits out because i get a really slim & tall video?
peace
