Not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes.....
I have a dvd which has been encoded as 4 seperate Xvid AVIs;
GSPOT Info for Part 1;
XviD ISO MPEG-4
0x0055 MPEG-1 Layer 3
File Length Correct
DivX Style "packed bitstream" AVI
OpenDML (AVI v2.0)
Interleave: 72 ms (2.2 v.frames), preload=144
Audio frames: Aligned on interleaves
Note: MPEG info in AVI stream header.
Video: 261 MB (96.59%)
Audio: 7.71 MB (2.85%)
AVI Overhead: 1.53 MB (0.57%)
The original owner claims he has no problems watching them with k-lite codec pack and MP Classic, however using the same codecs and player I lose the sound EXACTLY one third of the way in to each seperate AVI.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.....
Thanks.

Try playing with vlc or media player classic. They have internal codecs and may process it better. Both are free and useful players to have.
