This program is great at combining HDV and AVCHD files, but when rendering to .wmv 1080i... 8 Mbps the rendering is excruciatingly slow. It takes 14 minutes to render 1 minute of video. (so, if you have a production of 40 minutes, it will take 9+ hours) Microsoft Movie Maker only takes about 2 hrs and 15 minutes for the same.

If any of you Sony people are tuned in.. I cannot get a response from tech support because your "ask a question" tech support ends up in a loop of password id failure.. (evedentlyI have and answer but I cannot access it)

How can this be speeded up?
