Hi everyone, quick question to anyone that may be able to help. I currently have a large collection of TV shows that I am sharing off of my pc to my xbox 360. I haven't watched them all on my xbox yet as I'm still making my way through them all. I have encountered the problem in the past that anything encoded below DivX 5 (with an earlier version of DivX) is not supported by the xbox. I do have real-time encoding available through TVersity but it eats computer power and can sometimes lag with some videos.
What I would like to do is to be able to tell a program to encode all video files with a DIV3 tag to DivX 6 with a few general parameters. As of right now I don't see how I can do this without checking EACH file for the fourcc info and copying over each one to a temporary folder and just batch encoding the whole directory. And I don't want to just re-encode everything since a lot of the videos already work just fine. Would be a huge waste of computing time.
If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.
Thanks,
Chris

div3 sorter,
run it in your main directory and it'll sort by moving your div3 files to a subditrectory \div3
you can build the batch encoding in there too.
div3sorter.rar
